Sam Harris and Jordan Peterson had a series of talks in August and September of 2018. One of the best things that came out of the talks was not so much the content but the attitude both brought to the events. It was a talk, and not a formal debate.
Even though they didn't get that far in terms of sharing viewpoints or collaborating on definitions, the whole thing was a positive testament to the spirit of inquiry, and what people can do when the arena is not a competition but instead an exploration.
